The highest ranking hand is known as “Three Knights”, that is a hand with 3 picture cards.The expressions “Three Knights”, “Double Knights Seven”, “Plain Nine”, etc each have meanings assigned according to the ranking list.
All picture cards (King, Queen and Jack) and Tens carry the value of 0, while other cards carry their denoted numerical value (Ace carries the value of 1). Three Pictures is played with a single deck of cards.
